A Sweet Idea: Still Sweet Unfrosted Cupcakes

You all know I have a major sweet tooth but every now and then I like to skip, yes I said skip the frosting. A complete shocker I know...sometimes the frosting is the best part! But I promise I make up for it. Just take a look how I keep my cupcakes tasting good while skipping the frosting.

I add blueberries! Plus don't you feel a bit better about eating a cupcake when there is fruit involved?

I like to mix graham crackers and sugar together...it gives a nice subtle sweetness.
Oh and I just thought of this, but maybe even cinnamon mixed in would be good...let me know if you try it.

And of course my favorite to add to anything...pieces of chocolate!

Sometimes they're the best without the frosting, you can really get a taste of the flavour

Mmm, these sound amazing! Personally, I'm not too big a fan of frosting unless it is chocolate (but not too sweet), or something creative and different. Such a good idea to add blueberries! I will have to try that :)

awwww these look so delicious!
I almost always eat my muffins without frosting - frosting looks great but I think it's jsut too sweet and I've got a sweet tooth too!

I hope you're feeling better?
I'm quite well actually, my throat just hurts a little but I don't really care because it's already so much better than it was on Monday/Tuesday...

I'm the same way! Sometimes I just lop the frosting off as long as the cake is moist and delicious. I like the blueberry idea BTW!

I'm actually a frosting girl all the way. In fact, I usually just eat the frosting off the top and leave the cupcake behind. lol.

Now, with your tips, maybe I'll be converted into a cupcake lover too :)

Mmm, such great ideas to replace frosting! I'll admit I usually just eat the frosting part and don't eat the bottom half haha
